1Move notation

The letters are corners of the cube held normally: U top back left, L bottom front left, R bottom back right, B bottom back left. Letter = turn of half the cube around that corner by 1/3 of a turn clockwise, looking at that corner; R' = the other way; y = rotating the whole cube in your hands (right face to the front). The whole time white face on top.

2White face

White centre and 4 white corners on top, on every side the two top corners in one colour.

White centre to the top (rotating the whole cube). Put the empty spot at the top front left (y). The matching corner (white + the colours of the neighbouring sides; the first one any) is always in one of 4 spots. At the top back right - first R. Then by the white sticker:

front right at the bottomwhite facing right L' · front U R' U' · down L B' L B
back left at the bottomwhite facing back L · left B' L B · down L' U R' U'
in place, twistedwhite facing front U R U' L' · left L U R' U'

Opposite colours: green - blue, red - orange. A white corner on top in the wrong spot: treat the spot as empty - the wrong one will come out to the bottom by itself.

3Bottom corners

Four yellow stickers on the bottom face (centres do not matter yet).

No yellow on the bottom: the face with two yellow corner stickers to the left (y):

L' U R U'

Two yellow on the bottom: twisted corner at the front right, yellow facing right (y):

U B L R' B' U L

Both algorithms mix up the centres - that is normal.

4Centres

Yellow centre on the bottom, sides in the colour of the corners below them.

Yellow on a side: yellow on the right (y):

U L R B' R' L' U' B

One side good: good side on the left (y); the front centre belongs on the right:

L' U' B U B' R' L U

at the back: U' L' R B U' B' U L. None good: the cycle once from any side, then as above.

!When something does not work

  • Worse after the algorithm: one move in the wrong direction (judge the direction looking at the given corner - R from the back and below, B from the back) or the wrong grip.
  • The white face fell apart: the algorithms do not move it - there was a mistake in a move. Solve it again, count the moves out loud.
  • Two sides good, two bad: the yellow centre is not on the bottom - go back to the start of stage 4.
  • One corner twisted: someone twisted it in place - carefully twist it back with your fingers.
White on top. Letter = turn of half the cube around a corner (U top back left, L bottom front left, R bottom back right, B bottom back left) by 1/3 of a turn clockwise, looking at that corner; ' = the other way; y = rotating the whole cube. StrefaKostek.pl
