Not every puzzle fits neatly into categories like 3x3 cubes, Pyraminx, Megaminx or Skewb. In the "Other" section, we place puzzles that can't be assigned to any specific category. Right now you'll find trick cubes such as the 1s Solved here. They're props for magic tricks: you show a scrambled cube, and a moment later your audience sees it solved.
From the outside, it looks like an ordinary 3x3 cube with a black body. Inside, however, it has a hidden element (magicians call it a gimmick) that covers the scrambled faces. A single hand movement is enough to make the cube look solved, even though nobody performed any algorithm. You don't need to be a fast solver to show the effect itself. Knowing a simple 3x3 method does come in handy, though, when you practise the trick and when you reset the cube for the next performance.
This category includes two models: the Zcube Real 'Magic' Cube (1s Solved) and the RD Insta 1s-Solved Cube. Both give the same effect: "solving" the cube in a second. They differ in how the hidden element is built and how the trick is performed. The RD Insta is inspired by a trick well known among magicians, in which the change happens while the cube rests motionless in your hands. You'll find the details of each model on its product page.
It's a gadget for people who like showing tricks to friends, record short videos with a cube, or are looking for an unusual gift for a puzzle fan. It also works well as an addition to the collection of someone who already owns a few "normal" cubes.
To be clear, though, this is not speedcubing equipment. A cube with a hidden element does not meet WCA competition requirements and isn't meant for training or improving your times. To learn how to solve, it's better to choose a regular 3x3 cube for beginners and treat the 1s Solved model as a bit of fun alongside proper solving.
