Cubelab – miniature puzzle cubes

At Strefa Kostek, the Cubelab brand is represented by a single but very unusual product. The Cubelab 1cm Mini Cube is a 3x3 cube with 1 cm sides, roughly the size of a fingernail. Despite its tiny size, it really works: it turns and solves just like a regular 3x3.

Cubelab 1cm Mini Cube

This is one of the smallest 3x3 cubes in the world. At this scale, fingertricks and high TPS are out of the question. You turn the layers with your fingertips or a fingernail, and the cube is easiest to hold between two fingers. The mechanism is much more delicate than in a full-size cube, and there is practically no corner cutting, so you need to align each layer carefully before every move. Slow, precise turns work well, while a hard jerk can easily cause popping. Many people are surprised by how well the cube turns for its size. In our shop it is available in Black, Blue and Pink.

Who are Cubelab cubes for

The Mini Cube is above all a novelty. It looks great in a collection next to standard-size cubes and makes a nice small gift for a cuber. It will be the most fun for those who can already solve a 3x3 and want to see if they can manage it at a scale of just a few millimetres. It is not a cube for timed practice or for learning to solve. Because of its tiny size, it is also not suitable for young children.
