On Saturday, 16 May 2026, the fourth official WCA competition Mysłowice Cubing Spring 2026 took place at Primary School No. 3 named after the Knights of the Order of the Smile in Mysłowice. 57 competitors from Poland and abroad took part, and one of the stars of the event was Oskar Hanuszkiewicz, who won two gold medals and equalled his personal best Skewb average.

A 1.54 s Skewb average: a world-class result

In the Skewb final, Oskar Hanuszkiewicz achieved an average of 1.54 s with a best single of 1.30 s. His solves were: 1.61 | 1.45 | 1.55 | 1.30 | 2.64.

As of May 2026, the 1.54 s average placed Oskar 5th in the world and 2nd in Europe in the Skewb average rankings. In the single category, his personal best (0.94 s) ranked him 18th globally and 7th in Europe.

Second gold: a win in the 2x2x2 cube

On the same day, Oskar also won the 2x2x2 event. In the final, he set an average of 1.49 s and a best single of 1.26 s, with the following times: 1.29 | 1.69 | 1.48 | 1.26 | 1.95. This result is almost identical to his winning average in Rybnik in 2025 (1.48 s), which shows that Oskar is maintaining strong and consistent form in 2x2.
