Kodak is a brand known for photography that today also sells batteries made under licence. At Strefa Kostek, we offer Kodak AAA batteries for speedcubing timers, handy as a spare set for practice and competitions.
Kodak is an American brand from Rochester, New York, best known for photography: cameras, film and photographic materials. The company was founded by George Eastman in the late 19th century. You won't find any cameras at Strefa Kostek, though. Under the Kodak brand, we sell AAA batteries, something most speedcubing timers simply won't work without.
Today the Kodak brand also covers batteries. They are made under licence by third-party companies, and the range includes alkaline and zinc batteries in popular sizes, including AAA. We stock one Kodak product: AAA batteries for your timer. We added them for a simple reason. When a timer suddenly stops working at a competition or during practice at home, flat batteries are usually to blame, not the timer itself.
Before you order batteries, check the manual or the battery compartment to see what size and how many your timer takes. Different models need different batteries, and not every timer runs on AAA. If your timer will be left unused for a long time, it's a good idea to take the batteries out. This reduces the risk of leakage and damage to the contacts.
Kodak does not make cubes, timers or speedcubing accessories. You'll find cubes, mats and timers in separate categories of the shop, and you can simply add Kodak batteries to your order.
