List of products by manufacturer LingAo

LingAo is a Chinese puzzle manufacturer specializing in Magic and Master Magic folding puzzles (8 and 12 panels) and the classic Magic Clock. These simple, affordable puzzles are a great change of pace from cubes or a good way to start learning Clock.

LingAo is a Chinese puzzle manufacturer that doesn't compete with GAN or MoYu in the 3x3 cube market. Instead, it focuses on a narrower niche: folding puzzles of the Magic and Master Magic type, as well as the Magic Clock. We carry four LingAo puzzles: Magic 8p, Magic 8p mini, Magic 12p and Magic Clock.

LingAo Magic Puzzles – Folding Panels

The Magic series is based on Rubik's Magic, a puzzle invented by Ernő Rubik. The puzzle is made of square panels connected by flexible strings. You can fold, flip and rotate the panels relative to one another. After scrambling, your goal is to restore the pattern, which on the 8-panel model forms three linked rings. It's a completely different kind of solving than with a cube. You don't turn layers. Instead, you look for the right sequence of folds.

  • LingAo Magic 8p – the classic version with 8 panels arranged in two rows of four. A good place to start with this type of puzzle.

  • LingAo Magic 8p mini – the same mechanism and number of panels, but in a smaller size.

  • LingAo Magic 12p – the equivalent of the Master Magic: 12 panels in two rows of six. It has more possible configurations and is harder than the 8-panel version.

Magic and Master Magic used to be official WCA events, so they have their own place in speedcubing history. Today they are mainly puzzles for collectors and for anyone who wants a break from cubes. They also make a great gift for kids, as you don't need to know any algorithms to play with them.

LingAo Magic Clock

The Magic Clock is a double-sided mechanical puzzle with 9 clock faces on each side, four wheels and four buttons (pins). Your goal is to set all the hands to 12 o'clock on both sides at the same time. Clock is one of the WCA events. The LingAo model is a classic, non-magnetic pin-based design. It works well for learning this event and for casual solving. Competitors who train Clock for speed tend to choose newer magnetic models, because their pins switch more distinctly.
