Z-Cube Christmas Tree Cube is a 1x2x3 cuboid shaped like a Christmas tree. It works like a regular 1x2x3 puzzle but looks like a festive ornament. It comes with a strap, so you can hang it on your Christmas tree. The puzzle was released in 2018 and is available in two body colors: Black and Green.

How it solves

The mechanism is simple: only the side faces turn, and each of them makes half turns (180°) only. The puzzle turns smoothly without catching, and the pieces fit together well. It's an easy puzzle. If you know the basics of solving a 3x3 cube, you will usually solve it after a few minutes of play. A beginner can work out the solution alone by trial and error. It is not a speedcubing puzzle or a demanding challenge for an experienced cuber.

Textured stickers

Instead of the usual smooth vinyl stickers, the Christmas Tree Cube has fabric stickers with a noticeable, slightly rough texture. This makes it look more like a decoration than a regular cube. Not everyone likes how this texture feels in the hand, so it's worth knowing before you buy.

The Z-Cube Christmas tree makes a great Christmas gift for a cuber, an addition to a collection of unusual cuboids, or a tree ornament you can also solve. It is small and light (24 g), so it won't weigh down a branch.
