QiYi Training Mat - Infinite Mind

The QiYi Training Mat - Infinite Mind is a speedcubing mat from QiYi (MoFangGe) in a black colour version. It features a print with learning and solving motifs and a large puzzle cube in the centre. Underneath there are timer mounts, so you can use the mat both for practice and for timing your solves in competition-like conditions.

Why use a mat?

When you practise with a timer, your cube keeps landing on the table: before the start, after each solve and every time you put it down. A soft mat protects both your cube and the tabletop, and it also reduces noise. The mat is made of a material similar to mouse pads and has a rubber base that grips the desk. Thanks to this, it doesn't slide when you quickly put the cube down and slap the timer.

Timer mounts

This is the second generation of the QiYi mat. Compared with the first version, the timer mounting buttons have been improved: the eyelets are smaller, which makes them easier to install. A set of two buttons is included with the mat. The timer clips into the mounts and stays in place, even when you move the mat across the table.
