Adheron Cube Lube 20 ml

Adheron is a medium-viscosity cube lube from our own line. We developed it with speedcubers in mind. We worked on the formula for several months because we wanted to combine two things: after lubing, the cube should turn easily, and at the same time the layers should slow down on their own after each move. The lube comes in a 20 ml bottle.

What problem does it solve?

Many lubes, especially water-based ones, give too little resistance during the turn itself. The cube is fast, but overshooting happens easily and turning loses stability. Thick lubes meant to slow a cube down have a different drawback. Their resistance changes a lot depending on turning speed, which gives the cube a so-called gummy feel. On top of that, such lube spreads out over time and the cube speeds up as you solve. This makes it hard to set it up so that it feels the same for a long time.

How Adheron works

Adheron has a moderate viscosity, so it doesn't give a gummy feel. We chose the formula so that resistance during turning is constant and medium. As a result, the layers slow down in a predictable way. The lube adds medium resistance to the cube and removes the dry, scratchy feel that new or long-unlubed cubes often have. In practice, the cube turns more smoothly and stably without becoming noticeably slow.

Lite, standard or Heavy?

Adheron comes in three versions that differ in viscosity:

  • Adheron Lite: low viscosity. It adds almost no resistance and can be used to thin thicker silicone lubes.
  • Adheron (this version): medium viscosity, meaning moderate slowdown and more stable turning.
  • Adheron Heavy: high viscosity for those who want to slow their cube down more noticeably.

Who is it for?

Standard Adheron is best suited to fast cubes that feel too twitchy for you. It works well when you have overshooting or lack control, while a thick lube slows the cube down too much. If your cube is already slow and heavy, the Lite version is a better choice.

    Na początku nałożyłem go zbyt dużo, co sprawiło, że kostka stała się turbo zamulona i gumowa, odbierając przy tym całą przyjemność z układania. Po umyciu kostki nałożyłem po dwie krople na traki w dwóch przeciwległych krawędziach i delikatnie rozprowadziłem chusteczką cienką warstwę na ściankach. Przy takiej ilości kostka zaczęła zachowywać się zgodnie z opisem smaru – lepsza kontrola, stabilność i brak uczucia suchości. Jeśli nie przesadzi się z jego ilością, działa naprawdę dobrze. Użyłem go na MoYu RS3M v5 i mogę go polecić.

    Stosuje adherona od 2 miesięcy i spisuje się bardzo dobrze. W większości kostek smar je lekko przymula a przy niektórych daje uniwersalną szybkość lecz dodaje bardzo fajny fealling. Daje bardzo fajne uczucie przy połączeniu z lubestem i biosilkiem.
