The cube you're currently practicing with usually ends up somewhere on your desk next to the keyboard, while your pen disappears under a pile of paper. The Cube-Stand Pen-Holder combines a cube stand with a pen holder, so both items have one permanent spot. It takes up about as much desk space as a 3x3 cube itself.

What it's for

The stand is low, about 2 cm high. Your cube sits on it steadily and doesn't roll across the desk. Between practice sessions you can easily put it down and pick it up again right away, and it also looks nice on a shelf or desk. The pen holder comes in handy when you're learning and writing down new algorithms, session times or scrambles to practice again. Your pen is always within reach, so you don't have to look for it.

Dimensions and colors

The base measures about 7.4 x 6.4 cm. For comparison, a standard 3x3 cube has an edge of about 56 mm. Typical cubes of this size will fit on the stand, but for larger puzzles it's best to compare the dimensions first.

The stand is available in two colors:

• Black, which matches a dark desk and contrasts nicely with stickerless cubes,
• White for a bright interior or as a neutral background for a colorful cube.

Who is it for?

For anyone who practices at a desk and wants to keep their cube and notes tidy. It also makes a nice small gift for a cuber: it's inexpensive and useful, and the recipient doesn't need to own any particular cube model. Please note that the set does not include a cube or a pen.
