Cyclone Boys Magnetic 3x3 is a budget magnetic 3x3 cube from a brand that has been making affordable, simple speed cubes for years. It comes with factory-installed magnets, a standard 57 mm size and a Gradient colour scheme on the outside, meaning the colours blend smoothly into one another. It is above all a cube for learning and everyday solving. It does not compete with flagship models.

What the magnets do

The magnets in the pieces pull the layers into the correct position. After a turn, the cube "closes" the face by itself, so you are less likely to end up with a slightly misaligned layer that causes a lockup on the next move. For beginners this is a big help: turns are more predictable, and the cube is less likely to go out of alignment when you turn faster. If you have only solved on non-magnetic cubes so far, you will feel a clear "click" with every move.

What to expect

This is a simple design. There is no Ball-Core, MagLev or magnet strength adjustment system, which you will find in more expensive speedcubing cubes. You also should not expect the kind of corner cutting and consistency offered by high-end GAN or MoYu models.
