Big NxN cubes usually struggle in one area: when you turn one layer, the neighboring layers move too, because you can't get a secure grip on the whole cube with your hand. DianSheng Galaxy M 10x10x10 solves this with magnets. Distributors present it as the first factory-magnetic 10x10 cube in mass production. It belongs to the Galaxy series, which also includes this manufacturer's magnetic 8x8 and 9x9.

How it turns

The magnets are light. They don't give a strong "click" like 3x3 cubes do, but they help the layers settle into place and reduce accidental movement of the layers you're not turning. Users point out that this lets you set a looser tension and get faster turning without losing stability. Out of the box, the cube is smooth and evenly tensioned. Some people, however, find the magnets rather weak. If you like clearly noticeable magnets, keep this in mind.

This cube is for people who already solve big NxN cubes, such as 7x7 or 9x9, and want a 10x10 for regular solving, not just for the shelf. A single solve takes a long time and requires patience. For a first cube, including for a child, a smaller model is a better choice.
