The magnetic DianSheng Galaxy Megaminx M was released in 2024 as the missing piece of the Galaxy series, between the magnetic Kilominx and the Gigaminx. The letter M in the name stands for the magnetic version. This megaminx has magnets in the pieces and a magnetic core (Ball-Core), which was not previously standard in budget dodecahedrons. We offer it in the stickerless version with black internals (Black Internals).

How it turns

Retailers and reviewers describe it as a snappy megaminx with clearly noticeable magnets that turns well straight out of the box. The magnets in the pieces align the faces after each turn, and the magnets in the core further stabilize the mechanism. The puzzle is resistant to popping, and users point out that it does not tend to overshoot. The pieces have a so-called "tortoise shell" design, meaning contoured internal surfaces intended to make turning smoother and help spread the lube.
