This is a classic snake puzzle in an XXL version. The DianSheng Googol Snake has 24 segments, the same as a typical snake, but when laid out in a straight line it measures approx. 91 cm. The model belongs to the Googol series, in which DianSheng makes enlarged versions of well-known puzzles, such as big 3x3 cubes and the Pyraminx.

How to play with it

The principle is the same as with any snake. The triangular prism segments rotate against each other, and a single straight "rod" can be turned into animals, geometric shapes or a ball. There is no single solution, so the snake is more of a construction puzzle than a cube to solve. If you want to time yourself, the usual challenge is to form the ball (rhombicuboctahedron), starting from a straight line.

The large size really changes the way you play. Each segment is easy to grab with your whole hand, so even younger children can handle the snake well. Finished shapes are big enough to stand on a shelf as decoration. On the other hand, with a weight of nearly 0.9 kg and a length of 91 cm, it is better to work with it on a table or on the floor rather than in your hands. You also won't carry it in your pocket like a regular snake. The snake has no magnets and no tension adjustment system.

Colour versions

All variants are stickerless, which means the colour is in the plastic itself, not on stickers. Nothing peels off or wears away, even with frequent use.
