Double-Sided Magnetic Bean is a puzzle with balls that you need to sort into four colours. There are no layers or algorithms like on a 3x3 cube. As the name suggests, the puzzle is double-sided, so there are balls to solve on both sides.

How does solving work?

After scrambling, balls of different colours are scattered all over the puzzle. You need to move them around until you have four solid-colour groups again. Planning a few moves ahead really helps. A ball moved into one spot often pushes another one out of a position you have already solved. The second side adds extra work, so a single solve takes longer than with simple ball puzzles.

This puzzle is meant for fun, not for speedcubing. It is not approved for official competitions, so it makes no sense to buy it for timed practice. It makes a great gift for a child or for an adult who enjoys logic puzzles but doesn't want to learn notation and algorithms.
