How does a Super Mixup work?

In a regular 3x3 cube, corners, edges and centers always stay within their own group. Mixup cubes break this rule: turning by a partial angle mixes pieces of different types, and once scrambled, the cube loses its cubic shape. Knowing a 3x3 method is not enough to solve it. First you need to understand how the pieces move after a 30-degree turn, then adapt the algorithms you know or work out your own.

This is not a cube for timed speedcubing. It is all about experimenting and figuring out the mechanism, not TPS. When making partial turns, you need to align the layers precisely. Otherwise the next move may lock up.
