A Mastermorphix built on a 4x4 mechanism from FanXin. When solved, it has a shape close to a tetrahedron, and it changes its form once scrambled. It features a simple mechanism, light and smooth turning, rounded edges that improve corner cutting, and screw tension adjustment. Stickerless Bright version, size approx. 74 mm.
The FanXin 4x4x4 Mastermorphix is a shape-shifting puzzle built on a 4x4 cube mechanism. When solved, it has a shape close to a tetrahedron. Once scrambled, it loses this form, because the pieces come in different shapes and sizes. We stock the stickerless version in bright colors, so the colors are in the plastic itself and there are no stickers that could wear off or peel.
Inside is the same mechanism that FanXin uses in all of its 4x4 shape mods. The mechanism is very simple and has no extras for speedsolving. You won't find the systems known from speedcubing cubes here. The edges of the pieces are rounded, which improves corner cutting, so an imprecise turn ends in a lockup less often.
Turning is fairly light and smooth, with no catching. This puzzle isn't designed for high TPS but for calm, comfortable solving. At this price point, it's a well-made puzzle. You change the tension with the adjustment screws. A looser setting gives lighter turning, while tightening the screws makes the puzzle more stable and controlled.
How do you solve the Mastermorphix 4x4? The principle is the same as with a regular 4x4 cube. It's harder because the shape of the pieces doesn't always tell you right away where a given piece fits. You also need to keep in mind that parity can occur on a 4x4. So knowing a 4x4 method will come in handy. If you can already solve a classic 4x4, you get a new challenge here without having to learn everything from scratch. If you're just starting out, a better first step is the Mastermorphix 3x3 or a regular 4x4 cube.
This model is a good fit if you collect shape-shifting puzzles, want a break from classic cubes, or are looking for an affordable gift for someone who can already solve a 4x4. The Mastermorphix is not a WCA event, so this puzzle isn't intended for official competitions.

Nic trudnego-wykonałem alg i mam kolejnego parita.
