FanXin Lego Cube

FanXin Lego Cube 3x3

FanXin Lego Cube is a 3x3 cube whose faces you can cover with LEGO-style bricks. Instead of stickers or coloured plastic, every face has studs, and the set includes 60 2x2 tiles in six colours. You decide on the colour scheme yourself: the classic layout, your own patterns or any other bricks that fit the studs.

A cube for building, not for breaking records

This model should be judged mainly as a curiosity and a collector's item, not as a speedcubing cube. It turns stiffly, so during fast turning it doesn't behave like modern speed cubes. The attached bricks also increase the risk of something catching during a turn. The cube has adjustment screws, so you can tweak the tension a little, but that won't change its character. For practice and competitions, it's better to choose a regular 3x3 cube, especially since the FanXin Lego Cube is not allowed in official competitions.

What does the brick system offer?

• Your own colour scheme. Tiles in six colours let you create the standard cube colour scheme or a completely different layout.
• Change the look at any time. The tiles can be removed and put back on, so you can redesign the cube as many times as you like.
• Compatible with bricks. You can attach LEGO bricks to the studs, which is great if you enjoy combining puzzles with building.

Who is it for?

For collectors of unusual 3x3 cubes and for brick fans who want a puzzle they can decorate themselves. It also makes a good gift for a child who loves building. If the child is only just learning to solve the cube, it's better to also buy a regular, smooth-turning magnetic cube. Available versions include a black (Black) and a white (White) body.
