This is a small ball-shaped puzzle attached to a keychain. The FanXin mini 4-Colors Ball Keychain has four colors instead of the six you know from the classic 3x3 cube. You can clip it to your keys, backpack or pencil case and give it a twist whenever you have a spare moment. To be clear, though: it's a small gadget and a novelty item, not equipment for speedcubing practice.

What is this ball?

The ball is divided into movable pieces in four colors. After scrambling, you need to bring each color back together into a solid area. The ball has no flat faces or clear edges, so you look at it differently than at a cube. Someone who can only solve a 3x3 will have to think a bit about how to turn it and where to start.

This variant is stickerless in the Bright color scheme. The colors are in the plastic itself, so when you carry it in your pocket or on your keys, there are no stickers that could peel off or wear away. The puzzle has no magnets.

Who is it for?

• As a small gift. For example, for a child who likes brain teasers, or as an add-on to an order with a bigger cube.
• For collectors. It fits nicely into a collection of keychains and unusual FanXin puzzles.
• For a cuber on a break. You can twist something other than your usual 3x3. Just don't expect the smoothness and tension adjustment of full-size speed cubes.

If you're looking for your first cube to learn solving, a regular 3x3 cube will be a better choice. The keychain works best as an add-on to it.
