Giiker Tic-Tac-Toe Bolt

Giiker Tic-Tac-Toe Bolt

Giiker Tic-Tac-Toe Bolt is a screen-free electronic tic-tac-toe game in a small cube that fits in your hand. It is not a twisty puzzle like a 3x3 cube. On top, it has a 3x3 touch-sensitive board with light-up squares. On the front, there is a slider for choosing the mode. Under the removable lid, you will also find a classic board with pieces for playing without electronics. We stock the yellow (Yellow) version.

Game modes

• Infinite Tic-Tac-Toe against the computer. Each player can have only three marks on the board at a time. When you place a new one, your oldest one disappears. This means the game doesn't end in a draw when the board fills up. It goes on until someone gets three in a row. According to the manufacturer, the AI adapts the difficulty level to the player.
• Infinite Tic-Tac-Toe for two players. The rules are the same, but you play against another person.
• Memory Flash. The squares light up in a specific order, and your task is to tap them in the same order. The sequence gets longer with every round. It works much like the classic game Simon.
• Cover-up Tic-Tac-Toe. This mode is fully physical and is played with pieces on the board hidden under the lid. A larger piece can cover your opponent's smaller piece, so besides getting three in a row, you also need to plan which pieces to play.

The game makes simple sounds with every tap and when you win.

Who is it for?

Tic-Tac-Toe Bolt is mainly a game for kids and families. Almost everyone knows the rules, so you can start playing right away. At the same time, the mode with "disappearing" marks makes you think a few moves ahead, and Memory Flash trains your short-term memory. Two modes are for solo play and two are for two players. The game is small and doesn't need a phone or an app, so it works well for travel, waiting rooms or as a small gift. For someone looking for a logic-puzzle-style challenge, it may be too simple.

The game requires 2 AA batteries, which are not included.
