LanLan Sticker Razor

LanLan Sticker Razor is a small plastic scraper for removing stickers from cubes. It comes in handy when your stickers are worn out or peeling at the corners, or when you want to apply a new set, e.g. stickers in a different colour shade or finish. The blade slides under the edge of the sticker and lifts it, so you don't have to pick at it with your fingernail to find a spot where it will come off. On small pieces, such as 2x2 corners or Pyraminx and Megaminx pieces, this makes a big difference.

What's in the set

The set includes one handle and two blades. When the first one gets dull, you can fit the spare. Everything is made of plastic, so the tool is very light and fits in any case or accessory box.

How to use it

Hold the blade flat, almost parallel to the surface of the piece, and slide it under a corner of the sticker. Once the edge lifts, you can usually peel off the rest with your fingers. A plastic blade is softer than a metal knife or razor blade, so it's easier to avoid deep scratches on your cube. That doesn't mean it can't leave marks on the plastic if you press hard, so work calmly and don't dig the blade in at an angle.

If some adhesive is left on the piece after removing the sticker, you need to remove it separately before applying new stickers. Otherwise the new set may not stick evenly.

Who is it for?

The Sticker Razor is useful for anyone who has stickered cubes in their collection and replaces the stickers from time to time: both a speedcuber changing stickers on practice cubes and someone refreshing an older puzzle. You don't need this tool if you only solve stickerless cubes or cubes with a UV coating instead of stickers.
