A classic Pyraminx has 4 faces. As the name suggests, this one has 5, yet it still belongs to the 3x3 pyramid family. The body is black and the colours are on stickers, so the puzzle has a classic look.

How it differs from a regular Pyraminx

The standard Pyraminx, also used in WCA competitions, is a tetrahedron with a simple move set. The 5-Sides version has a different geometry, so the algorithms you already know won't carry over one to one. You have to work out the solution yourself, and that's exactly where the fun lies. This puzzle has no magnets. What matters here is the unusual shape and the solving challenge, not speed or TPS.

Lee's models are handmade, not mass-produced, so it doesn't make sense to compare this pyramid with factory-made magnetic speed cubes. Turning is slower and needs more care than on a modern speed Pyraminx. It works best when you turn calmly and precisely.
