Monster Go 352M

Monster Go 352M 3x3

Monster Go 352M is a magnetic 3x3 cube from the Monster Go series, GAN's more affordable line aimed at beginners. The manufacturer highlights its size above all: it is smaller than a typical speed cube, so it fits nicely in small hands. The cube comes in the stickerless bright version, so there are no stickers to wear off or peel.

How it turns

The magnets help each layer settle into place with every turn. This makes a big difference during your first solves, because the cube gets stuck between positions less often and catches less. Speedcubing shops describe it as a cube with clearly noticeable magnets. It feels more "controlled" than light and loose. The inner surfaces of the pieces have a hexagonal pattern that spreads the lube and holds it longer. This comes in handy once the cube has been lubed.

This is not a flagship for chasing records. It has no Ball-Core, MagLev or the advanced settings found in GAN's more expensive models. Its job is to give beginners a decent magnetic cube instead of a stiff cube with stickers.

Who is the Monster Go 352M for?

• For kids and people with smaller hands. The smaller size makes it easier to grip and turn the layers with your fingers.
• As a first magnetic cube. The magnets forgive imprecise turns, so learning the beginner method goes more smoothly.
• As a backpack or pocket cube. Its small size works well when travelling.

An adult cuber with large hands who wants to train for time will quickly notice that this cube is too small for them. In that case, a full-size 3x3 cube is a better choice.
