What the magnets do

In cheap 15 puzzles, the tiles often jam, feel loose or fall out of the frame. In the MoYu version, magnets hold the tiles to the board. Scramble the 15 puzzle only by sliding the tiles. If you rearrange the pieces by hand, you can easily end up with a position that cannot be solved. That's simply how the mathematics of this puzzle works, and it is not a defect of your puzzle. The best way is to make a few dozen random moves from the solved position.
