How the 1x3x3 cube works

The 1x3x3 cube consists of 4 corners, 4 edges and a fixed center. Each turn moves three pieces from one side to the other. As a result, the corners swap places and the edges flip over to the other side. There are only a few moves, but solving it well depends on their order. An experienced cuber will solve the Floppy Cube in moments. For someone just starting out, it is a good exercise in thinking about how a single move affects several pieces at once.
