This set includes a magnetic 5x5 cube from MoYu's budget series and robot-shaped packaging. The MoYu Meilong 5x5x5 Magnetic, also known as the Meilong 5M, has been on the market since 2020 and is still one of the most popular budget 5x5 cubes. The robot version has the same mechanism as the regular Meilong 5M. Only the packaging is different, and once unpacked, it can be used as a decoration or a toy.

How the Meilong 5M turns

The cube turns smoothly and gives you plenty of control. The factory-installed magnets help the layers settle into place, so it's easier to line them up and you get fewer lockups than with the non-magnetic version. At 61.5 mm, the Meilong is fairly compact for a 5x5 and fits well in smaller hands. Users also praise how light it is. The robot: packaging with a second use
