An affordable, non-magnetic 8x8 cube measuring 69 mm, roughly the size of a typical 7x7. It has tension adjustment with screws and springs. It's a good way to get started with 8x8 or complete your collection, but it needs a break-in and a basic setup to perform well.
MoYu Meilong 8x8x8 MF8 is a budget 8x8 cube from the MeiLong series (MoFang JiaoShi) that measures just 69 mm. That's roughly the size of a typical 7x7 cube. When it came out, most 8x8 cubes were noticeably bigger, and this model was one of the first cheap, easy-to-find 8x8 cubes in a reduced size. For many people it's still the simplest way to get started with this size without spending a lot.
The Meilong 8x8 turns smoothly, but it doesn't compete with more expensive high-end 8x8 cubes. The cube has no magnets. Straight out of the box it's usually quite stiff and needs a break-in period and a basic setup: lubing and adjusting the tension. Users point out that lockups can happen during faster turning, and popping can occur if it's set up too loose. At a calmer pace the cube performs well. The wider outer layers make the cube easier to hold and make turning the inner layers easier.
Inside there are screws and springs, so you can set the tension yourself. On an 8x8 cube this matters, because well-chosen tensioning reduces both popping and excessive resistance when turning.
MoYu later released newer versions of this cube: the Meilong 8x8 V3, which is smaller and lighter, and the V3M version with magnets. If you solve for time and stability matters to you, a magnetic 8x8 will give you noticeably more. The original Meilong makes sense when a low price is what counts, when you simply want to try an 8x8, or when you're completing your collection of NxN cubes.
For someone who already solves a 6x6 or 7x7 and wants to move up to 8x8 on a budget. It also works well as a collection cube. It isn't a model for someone who wants to train 8x8 for time at a high level. It's worth knowing that 8x8 is not a WCA event, so this cube isn't used in official competitions.

Super!
Genialna!
świetnie sie porusza i dziala duzo plynniej i bez zacięć niz moja 7x7x7 mofang. polecam!

Jednak strasznie popuje. Podczas jednego ułożenia doszło do przynajmniej 15 popów.

Super :)
Świetna kostka. Jak dla mnie rewelacja
