MoYu Skewb Stickers

MoYu Skewb Stickers

MoYu Skewb Stickers from Halczuk Stickers are a set of replacement stickers for the MoYu Skewb. They come in handy when the original stickers are worn, peeling at the corners or you simply don't like their colour scheme. The mechanism is often still in good condition, so new stickers are a cheaper solution than buying a new cube.

A few words about Halczuk Stickers

Halczuk Stickers is a Polish brand of cube stickers, well known among Polish cubers. Each set is cut for a specific cube model, so the shape and size of the stickers match the faces of this Skewb. They are made from ORACAL vinyl, a material designed for stickers, not ordinary self-adhesive paper.

Colour versions

The set comes in four variants. All of them fit the same cube and differ only in colour shades:

• Normal: classic, standard face colours.
• Bright: lighter and more saturated shades that make the colours easier to tell apart.
• Fluo: fluorescent colours, by far the most vivid in the range.
• Fluo Dark Blue: the fluo set with a darker shade of blue.

Which variant to choose mainly depends on what you like. When solving fast, it's important that the colours are clearly distinct from one another. That's why many people choose the Bright or Fluo versions, as they make it harder to confuse similar colours, such as red and orange.

Applying the stickers

Before you start, remove the old stickers and clean off any leftover adhesive. It's best to wipe the faces so no greasy marks remain. On a Skewb, each face has a square centre and four triangular corners, so the stickers are applied to each piece separately. Start from one corner of the sticker and slowly press down the rest. This makes it easier to align it with the edges and avoid air bubbles.
