Compared with other 2x2 cubes, this model stands out for one reason: instead of six colors, it has only three. MoYu Teaching Series 2x2x2 is an educational cube (teaching cube) designed for learning. With fewer colors, there is less information to keep track of. This makes it easier to see how the pieces move and how the puzzle itself works. You don't have to keep an eye on all six colors at once.

On a regular cube, beginners often get lost because they see too many colors at the same time. Three colors simplify the picture. At every stage, it is easier to focus on the moves and on what happens to the corners instead of searching for the right piece. Construction

The cube has a standard size of 50 mm, typical for a 2x2. It is stickerless, in the Stickerless Bright color scheme: the color is in the plastic itself, so there are no stickers that could wear off or peel. The surface is matte. This model has no magnets and is not a speed cube for breaking records, but a tool for learning and practice. You can adjust the tension with the adjustment screws.

Things to keep in mind

The cube has a non-standard, three-color scheme, so it is not legal for official competitions. If you want to compete or time your solves on a regular cube, you need a classic six-color 2x2. The Teaching Series complements it well as a practice cube.
