QiYi 2x2x3 is a tower-shaped cuboid measuring 44 x 44 x 66 mm and the first cuboid in the QiYi MoFangGe line. Thanks to its rounded pieces, it turns smoothly and handles corner cutting well. A great first cuboid for anyone who can already solve a 3x3.
QiYi 2x2x3 is a cuboid shaped like a small tower: a 2x2 base and three vertical layers. It was released in 2017 as the first cuboid in the QiYi MoFangGe line and was designed by Yukang Wu. Older 2x2x3 puzzles had a reputation for stiff turning and frequent catching. QiYi rounded the pieces and refined the mechanism, so this cuboid turns smoothly despite its unusual shape.
Unlike a regular cube, not every face turns 90 degrees. The top and bottom layers turn normally. The side faces, which are three layers tall, only turn 180 degrees, because after a quarter turn the puzzle would lose its shape. The rules are quick to learn, but you will need to adjust some habits from the 3x3. That is why the 2x2x3 is often the first cuboid in a collection. It is best to take it on once you can already solve a 3x3 cube.
User reviews say the turning is smooth and corner cutting works well for a puzzle of this type, thanks to the rounded pieces mentioned above. Lockups are rare, even when turning faster. The cube has no magnets, so the layers do not snap into place on their own. You need to align them a bit more precisely than on magnetic 3x3 cubes. The surface is matte. Some reviews mention that the stickerless version can feel a little sandy straight out of the box and turns more smoothly over time.
This cuboid makes sense for anyone who can solve a 3x3 and wants to try something other than yet another NxNxN cube. It also works as an inexpensive first step into the world of cuboids or as another addition to your collection. It is not a WCA event, so the cuboid is more suited to fun and learning than to competition training.

Kostka jest okej jak za 30zł to jest okej nie zacina oczywiście nie ścina mega zakrętów ja np.(Gan) ale to do zabawy więc nie ma co シ︎.
Bardzo fajna kostka tania kostka
Za 20 zł to się szkoda zastawiać - brać i się bawić.
Chociaż akurat mi nie podeszła bo ja lubię układać LBL
Spoko
Kostka porusza się płynnie, nie zacina. Trzeba uważać podczas układania aby żaden element nie wypadł. Narożnik łatwo się rozpada mimo to polecam, bo fajna modyfikacja.
