QiYi Bluetooth Display Pro

QiYi Bluetooth Display Pro

QiYi Bluetooth Display Pro is an external timer display that shows your solve time on a large LED screen. It connects to the timer wirelessly via Bluetooth, so there's no cable running across the table. The screen is double-sided, so both the solver and the judge or spectators on the other side of the table can see the time. Results are displayed to 0.001 s.

How the connection to the timer works

The QiYi Smart Timer has built-in Bluetooth and pairs with the display directly. For timers without Bluetooth, use the Bluetooth transmitter included in the set. Plug it into the timer's data port, and from then on the timer sends times to the display wirelessly. The transmitter has a 3.5 mm plug, and the set also includes a 3.5 to 2.5 mm adapter for timers with a smaller port. If you prefer a wired connection, the display also works with a cable.

Compatible timers:

• QiYi Speedcubing Timer
• QiYi Smart Timer
• SengSo Timer
• SengSo Timer V2

Mounting and power

The display mounts on the edge of a table with a clamp that has a rotation lock and a tall bracket, so the screen sits above the tabletop and isn't blocked by the mat or the cube. The display has a matte, light-diffusing cover, so the digits shouldn't reflect overhead lights. There are two power options: USB-C (cable included, wall charger not included) or four AA batteries, sold separately. On batteries, you can set the display up wherever there's no power outlet.

Who is it for?

The display is useful for clubs, schools and organisers of unofficial competitions, as well as for anyone who records or streams their solves and wants the time clearly visible in the frame. For solo practice at home, the timer alone is usually enough, and the display is more of a handy extra than a necessity. Before buying, check that your timer is on the list of compatible models.
