QiYi Chest Bag

This small cube bag from QiYi/MoFangGe is worn across the shoulder, at the front on your chest, just like any chest bag. The QiYi Chest Bag comes in handy at competitions, when travelling and in everyday life, whenever you want to carry a few cubes and small items but don't need a backpack. The bag measures approx. 29 x 19 x 14 cm, weighs approx. 304 g and is available in black.

Pockets and organization

The bag has four separate pockets, so your cubes, timer and small items don't all end up in one place:
- The largest compartment has two dividers inside: one open and one with a zipper. The zippered one is a good place for things that shouldn't rub against your cubes, such as your phone or keys.
- At the front there is a smaller zippered pocket for things you reach for more often.
- Above the front pocket there is one more, hidden under a button flap. It's almost invisible from the outside.
- The last and smallest pocket sits by the strap, so you can open it without taking the bag off.

On the sides there are two extra drawstring pockets with toggles. They fit, for example, a bottle or lube, and the toggle keeps things from falling out.

Strap and carrying

The strap length is adjustable, and a large fabric loop makes adjusting it easy. You can also move the strap to the other side to suit whichever shoulder you find more comfortable. On top there is also a handle for carrying the bag in your hand or hanging it up, e.g. on the back of a chair in the competition venue.

What it's good for, and what it isn't

The QiYi Chest Bag is a bag for the essentials: a few cubes to warm up before a round, lube, a tension adjustment tool and personal items. If you take your whole collection to competitions, along with bigger puzzles or a mat, a larger cube bag or a backpack is a better choice. The chest bag will then be an addition for the things you want to keep close at hand. The bag looks ordinary and doesn't reveal that it's made for cubers, so it also works well outside competitions, e.g. at school or when travelling.
