QiYi Infinity Cube

The eight small cubes can't be separated because they are permanently connected. This means you can fold and unfold the QiYi Infinity Cube endlessly, always following the same repeating pattern. It's a fidget, not a puzzle to solve. There is no "solved" state, and you don't need to know any algorithms or read instructions. Just pick it up and start turning.

How the infinity cube works

You split the cube in half and rotate the resulting blocks relative to each other. After a few moves it returns to its cube shape and the whole cycle starts again. The motion is repetitive, so after a while your fingers do it on their own and you don't need to look at the cube. That's why the infinity cube works well while studying, talking on the phone or waiting. It keeps your hands busy, helps you relax or focus, and is a great replacement for clicking a pen or biting your nails.

Build quality

The blocks are made of ABS plastic and have rounded edges and corners, so they don't dig into your hand even during long use. At about 36 mm and around 50 g, the cube fits in a pocket or pencil case and takes up no space on your desk. It comes in three colors: Blue, Green and Golden.

Who is it for?

For anyone who likes to have something in their hands while working or studying. For kids and teens, it's a simple gadget that doesn't require any skills. Cubers also buy it to have something to fidget with between solves. However, if you're looking for a cube to practice solving or for competitions, choose a classic speed cube. The Infinity Cube is not a puzzle in the WCA sense and is not allowed in official competitions.
