QiYi mini Magnetic Blocks 26 PCS

QiYi mini Magnetic Blocks 26 PCS

This isn't a cube you turn. It's a set you put together. QiYi mini Magnetic Blocks 26 PCS are magnetic building blocks from QiYi: 26 transparent pieces in different shapes that connect to each other with magnets. You can assemble the whole set into a cube about 6 cm on each side, or use the same pieces to build your own shapes and 3D structures. It's a nice change from cubes: instead of turning layers, you build a solid from separate pieces.

How it works

The pieces come in different shapes and stick to each other with magnets, so your build holds together without glue or snap-fit joints. Putting all 26 pieces back into a cube is a 3D puzzle in itself. You need to figure out which shape goes where. Once the cube is assembled, you can take it apart and build anything you like. The transparent plastic lets you see how the pieces are arranged, which makes it easier to experiment.

The blocks are not meant for speedcubing and have no mechanism at all. They're more of a relaxing desk toy, something for a break between solves, or a gift for someone who enjoys puzzles but doesn't necessarily solve the 3x3 cube.

Who is it for?

For people who enjoy hands-on puzzles and spatial thinking, for cubers who want something on their desk other than yet another 3x3, and for kids who love building things. The set contains small magnetic pieces, so it should not be given to very young children. Parents, please check the age recommendations on the packaging.
