QiYi Mirror with Fluorescent stickers is a 3x3 mirror cube with fluorescent stickers that glow in the dark and in low light. The mechanism is the same as in a regular 3x3 cube, but each layer has a different thickness. Once scrambled, the cube loses its cube shape and turns into an irregular block. The version sold in our shop has a black body.

How to solve a mirror cube

On a mirror cube, colors don't matter. You recognize the pieces by their height and shape, and the cube is solved when it forms an even cube again. The algorithms are exactly the same as on a classic 3x3, so it's a good idea to know how to solve a regular cube before you buy one. At first, most of your time goes into learning which piece fits where and in what orientation. If you already know the 3x3, the mirror cube changes the way you look at the puzzle, even though the moves stay the same.

Fluorescent stickers

What mainly sets this version apart from the standard QiYi Mirror is the stickers. In daylight they look vividly colored, and in the dark they start to glow. You can then solve the cube with the lights off or put it on a shelf with your collection as a decoration. QiYi's fluorescent sticker series also includes a 2x2, a 3x3 and a Pyraminx, among others.

How it turns

This is a budget puzzle, not a cube for breaking records. Turning is smooth, and the corner cutting is enough for relaxed solving. Because of its shape, a mirror cube isn't made for high TPS. With this cube, it's mainly about having fun with the shape. As a comfortable and affordable mirror cube, it's a great choice if you want to start your adventure with shape mods.
