An electronic sliding puzzle from QiYi where you move cars instead of classic blocks. QiYi Smart Klotski Racing Edition has a simple goal: rearrange the cars and trucks on the board so the red car can drive out to the finish marked with a flag. The layout of each challenge appears on the built-in screen, and the device stores 3000 challenges, so the puzzle won't run out after a few evenings.

How to play

First you place the vehicles on the board according to the layout shown on the screen, then you look for the sequence of moves that clears a path for the red car. There are two modes to choose from:

• Level mode: work through the challenges in order or pick a specific number. If you get stuck, you can use the hint button.
• Timed mode: you have 99 seconds for each challenge, with the countdown shown on the screen.

Difficulty levels

The challenges are divided into several difficulty levels. The first ones can be solved in just a few moves and are great for learning the rules, also for kids. At higher levels you need to plan several moves ahead, because moving one vehicle blocks the next ones. Timed mode adds pressure on top of that, which for many people is the most exciting part of the game.

Who is it for?

It's a great logic puzzle for kids and the whole family: the rules can be explained in a minute, and thanks to the hints the harder challenges don't get discouraging. Cubers will enjoy it as a break from cubes, because instead of muscle memory and TPS it trains planning and spatial thinking. It is not a cube or a WCA puzzle, but a logic game to play at home or on the go.
