This product isn't a cube. It's a break from turning. QiYi Smart Puzzle Art is an electronic block puzzle. You place blocks of different shapes and sizes on a grid board so that they fill the whole empty area. The built-in electronics give you the challenges, so you don't have to come up with layouts yourself or look them up in a booklet.

How it works

The device shows a starting layout on its display, meaning where selected blocks should be placed at the beginning. You add the remaining pieces until the board is full. Every challenge starts from a different configuration, so even though the blocks are always the same, each one has to be solved differently. According to distributors, the memory holds over 3000 challenges, so you won't run out any time soon.

Game modes

• Level mode: you choose a specific challenge and solve it with no time pressure. If you get stuck, you can press the hint button to point you towards the solution.
• Timed mode: you have 99 seconds to complete the board from the layout shown on the display. This mode tests not only your logic but also your speed.

Art or Logic?

QiYi released Smart Puzzle in two versions. Art is the easier one and gives you more freedom when placing the blocks. That makes it a good choice for beginners and younger players. The Logic version has harder challenges, so it suits people who want a bigger challenge.
