SengSo 6x6 Pyraminx

SengSo 6x6 Pyraminx is a pyramid puzzle from ShengShou (SengSo brand) with six layers on each edge instead of the three found on a classic Pyraminx. It went on sale in autumn 2025 and joined ShengShou's larger pyramid puzzles, such as the 4-layer Master Pyraminx. The puzzle is stickerless, so the colours are in the plastic itself and there are no stickers to wear off or peel.

How it differs from a regular Pyraminx

The moves are the same as on a classic Pyraminx: turns around the four tips. There are many more pieces, though, and solving it feels more like big NxN cubes than fast Pyraminx solves. First comes a lot of grouping pieces together, then repeating the same patterns. If you have already solved a Master Pyraminx or another larger pyramid puzzle, you will usually manage this one without a tutorial. If you only know the 3-layer Pyraminx, be ready for a longer learning curve.

How it turns

With this many layers, what matters most is whether the mechanism holds up during long solves. Early users report no popping and no lockups. The puzzle is noticeably heavier than a typical pyramid puzzle, although this does not get in the way of solving. Don't expect fast turning or high TPS. The 6x6 Pyraminx is not a WCA event and should be treated as a puzzle for relaxed solving, not one for chasing times.

Who is it for?

For people who have already conquered the Pyraminx and Master Pyraminx and want something longer and more challenging. It is also a great pick for collectors of unusual puzzles. For a first pyramid puzzle, including one for a child, it is better to choose a classic 3x3 Pyraminx and move on to larger models later.
