SengSo Crazy 3x3 Limited Edition is a 3x3 puzzle from ShengShou (SengSo is this manufacturer's brand) in the Jelly color version, made of transparent, colored stickerless plastic. Mechanically, it is the first-generation Crazy 3x3 (V1). This limited edition differs from the standard one mainly in its looks.

What makes it "crazy"

From the outside, it is a rounded (pillowed) 3x3 cube, but each face has a circle made of 5 pieces: a center and four segments around it. On some faces, this circle does not turn together with the layer. The layer turns, but the circle stays in place. That is why you will run into situations while solving that you never see on a regular cube. You have to solve the 3x3 itself and also take care of the circles separately.

If you can solve a classic 3x3, you can handle this one too. User opinions agree: it is one of the easier puzzles in the Crazy series, very close to a regular cube. It requires thinking through a few new cases rather than learning a completely new method. For an experienced cuber, it may even be too easy. A harder version is the Crazy 3x3 V2, which has 9 pieces in each circle.

How it turns

The cube has no magnets, no tension adjustment system and no UV coating. For a cube with extra cuts, turning is smooth, and reviewers rarely mention pops. However, don't expect the smoothness or corner cutting of a good speed cube, as it clearly falls behind one. Some users point out that the cube is loud when turning.

Who is it for?

For someone who can already solve a 3x3 and is looking for their first puzzle "with a twist", without a steep learning curve. The Jelly version also works well as a gift or a collection piece, as the transparent plastic shows the cuts and the mechanism's construction. This is not a cube for speedcubing practice or WCA competitions, as Crazy 3x3 is not an official event.
