SengSo Happy Jenga

SengSo Happy Jenga

SengSo Happy Jenga by ShengShou is a dexterity game all about balance. It has little in common with cubes, because nothing turns here. The rule is simple: you stack colorful pieces one on top of another so that the whole structure doesn't topple over. Whoever knocks the pieces off loses.

How the game works

The tower doesn't stand on a flat surface. Its foundation is an arched figure placed on a stand, so you need a delicate touch from the very first pieces. Each piece has a different shape and shifts the center of gravity. The higher the tower grows, the harder it is to find a safe spot for the next one. You can't just put a piece anywhere. You have to think about how to distribute the weight so you don't make your next moves harder. That's why the game takes both a steady hand and a bit of planning.

A round is short, and you can explain the rules in a few seconds. You can play with several people taking turns, or on your own and see how many pieces you can keep on the base.

What's in the set

• stand,
• arched figure that serves as the foundation,
• stacking pieces in various shapes and colors.

Who is it for?

Happy Jenga works well as a family game and for a quick round with friends. It's also a nice small add-on to your order or a gift for someone who likes puzzles but doesn't necessarily solve cubes. The rules are simple, so kids can play too. Speedcubers should know that this is a party game, not a cube-style puzzle, so there are no algorithms to learn.
