It measures approx. 3 cm, weighs approx. 22 g and fits easily in your pocket, on your backpack or with your keys. The mechanism works just like a regular 3x3 cube, so you can solve it as usual.

Pillowed: a rounded 3x3 keychain

Pillowed means the faces of the cube are slightly rounded, so the shape resembles a small pillow. This keychain sits better in your fingers than a flat cube of the same size, and it is more pleasant to turn. There is also a standard version of this ShengShou keychain with the classic flat shape. The mechanism and size are the same, so choosing between them is mainly a matter of looks and how the cube feels in your hand.

What to expect

This is first and foremost a gadget and a cube for solving on the go, for example while waiting in line or on the bus. It has no magnets and no tension adjustment, and at approx. 3 cm, turning the layers feels completely different from a 56-57 mm cube. That means it is not suitable for practice or chasing times.
