SK Stickers for the YJ YuShi 6x6 Cube

SK Stickers YJ YuShi is a replacement sticker set for the YJ YuShi 6x6 cube. It comes in handy when the original stickers are scratched, peeling at the corners or faded. It also works if you simply want to change the look of your cube. The stickers are cut from ORACAL® vinyl, and the set includes transfer tape that makes applying them easier.

Material and colors

ORACAL is a self-adhesive vinyl known to anyone who works with vehicle wraps and signage. It is well suited to parts that are constantly touched and rub against each other, and on a cube that happens with every turn. The sticker colors are bright and easy to tell apart. On a 6x6 this really matters, because each face has 36 stickers and similar shades are easy to confuse when solving centers and pairing edges.

How to apply stickers on a 6x6

A 6x6 cube has 216 stickers, so applying each one separately with tweezers takes a long time and makes it hard to keep the gaps even. The transfer tape lets you move the stickers from the sheet to the cube in a fixed layout, so they keep their position relative to each other. A few practical tips:

• Remove the old stickers and clean any adhesive residue off the pieces.
• Degrease the surface, e.g. with isopropyl alcohol, and wait until it dries.
• Align the face so that the pieces sit flat in one plane. If the cube is loose, it helps to squeeze it a bit harder for a moment.
• After applying, press down each sticker before you remove the transfer tape.

Which YuShi version?

YJ has released several versions of the YuShi 6x6, and they differ in size. The first, non-magnetic version is about 69 mm, while the YuShi V2 M is about 65 mm. Stickers made for one version will not fit the other properly. Check which version you have before ordering. If in doubt, write to us and we will tell you whether the set will fit.
