Speed Stacks Cup Keeper

Speed Stacks Cup Keeper

Speed Stacks Cup Keeper is a small sport stacking accessory that protects your cups from losing their shape. Over time, cups can stop being perfectly round, for example from being carried in a backpack, tossed into a bag or simply stored in a tight space. The Cup Keeper holds them in shape, so they don't bend or stick together, and they stay usable for stacking longer.

Why cup shape matters

Speed Stacks cups have a small gap between them. Thanks to it, they separate freely even when you squeeze them slightly in your hand while stacking. If a cup is even a little oval, that gap disappears. The cups start rubbing against each other, they don't come apart the way they should during fast stacking, and you get a fumble, a mistake mid-stack.

It's often hard to even notice that the error was caused by the cup's shape rather than your technique. Everything happens very fast, and the blame usually falls on your hands. So a slightly deformed set can ruin your times, even though it looks fine at first glance.

What it's good for

• Protecting the shape of your cups, especially during transport and storage.
• Less cup sticking. Round cups separate more smoothly, so you fumble less.
• Longer life for your set. Cups that don't deform stay usable for training and competitions longer.
• Light and small. It weighs about 16 g, so it won't weigh down your bag or backpack.

Who is it for?

It's useful for anyone who trains sport stacking regularly and carries their cups to practice at school, to a club or to competitions. It's especially worth having in kids' sets, because cups thrown loose into a backpack lose their shape the fastest. If your set has already started sticking, the Cup Keeper won't fix permanently deformed cups, but it will help protect a new set from the same fate.
