Speed Stacks Shorties Cups

Speed Stacks Shorties Cups

Speed Stacks Shorties is a set of 15 original, shorter Speed Stacks cups with a stem for carrying and storing them. Shorties are medium-sized cups. They are big enough to grip with your whole hand, but because they are shorter, you can build and take down stacks faster than with standard cups.

How Shorties differ from regular Speed Stacks cups

The key difference is height: each cup is about 6.3 cm tall, so your hand travels a shorter distance with every upstack and downstack. Smaller cups are also easier for small hands to grip, which makes Shorties a great choice for younger children. The second difference is the number of cups. The set includes 15 instead of the 12 in a standard set, so you can build new stack combinations. The design is based on the Pro Series, with a hole in the top part of the cup. The steps are printed in graphite so the print wears off more slowly.

For practice and fun, not for competitions

Speed Stacks is the official cup brand of the WSSA (World Sport Stacking Association), and only this company's cups are allowed at WSSA-sanctioned competitions. However, Shorties are not approved for official attempts. The WSSA rules list them alongside the Mini and Jumbo versions as cups outside the official category. This set is for practice, fun and competing at home or at school. If you are preparing for a tournament, you should practice with a standard Speed Stacks set.

Sport Stacking in a nutshell

Sport Stacking is about stacking cups as fast as possible in specific sequences and then taking them back down. The sport was born in the United States and is gaining more and more fans in Poland too, especially among children and teenagers. Regular stacking trains speed, dexterity and motor coordination, and racing against the clock motivates kids to practice.

The cups are made of durable plastic that withstands drops and heavy use. Speed Stacks has been making Sport Stacking equipment for over 20 years and is the main partner of the WSSA.

The dimensions and weight given in the specifications refer to a single cup.
