Stellar Ultra Cubes Set is a set of eight puzzles from the higher-end Stellar Ultra series, packed in a sturdy box with a handle. Inside you'll find 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 cubes plus a Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb and Mirror 3x3. Each puzzle has its own slot in the box, so the set looks like a ready-made gift straight away.

What makes the Ultra cubes stand out

Ultra is the stronger of the two Stellar series. Features depend on the model. The 3x3 is the most advanced: it has magnets, a ball core, an edge core, a MagLev system and a UV coating. The 2x2 has magnets, a ball core and UV coating, while the 4x4, 5x5 and Pyraminx have magnets and UV coating. The Megaminx has magnets, a ball core and MagLev, but no UV coating. In this series the Skewb and Mirror 3x3 have no magnets, but they do have a UV coating.

The box

The box opens like a suitcase: a gold shell with a handle on the outside, and black padding with slots for the puzzles and their model names on the inside. A rank table (from S downwards) is printed on the inside of the lid, and the set also includes a card with the Stellar Cube logo. Later on, you can use the box to store your cubes.

Who is it for?

It's a great gift for someone who wants to start solving more than one event and doesn't have their own collection yet. It's also a good fit for a cuber who would rather buy one complete set from the same brand than pick each cube separately. If you only need one or two puzzles, it's better to buy them individually, as Stellar Ultra models are also available separately.
