Stickers for GAN 356 3x3 (z-bright)

On a cube you solve every day, the stickers wear out faster than the mechanism. First the corners rub off, then chips appear, and eventually the sticker starts peeling away from the piece. This set of stickers for the GAN 356 lets you refresh an older GAN 3x3 cube without buying a new one. It comes in the z-bright variant, a bright, clear colour scheme.

Which cube do they fit?

The stickers are cut to the shape of the pieces of the original GAN 356 (Gans 356). Later models in the 356 series, such as the Air, X or M, have differently shaped pieces or are stickerless, so this set may not fit them. Before you buy, check which GAN model you have.

When should you replace the stickers?

• The stickers are worn or chipped at the edges, and it is hard to tell the colours apart during inspection.
• The stickers are peeling and catch on your fingers during fast turning.
• You want to switch to a brighter, easier-to-read colour shade.

The GAN 356 mechanism itself is often still in good shape by the time the stickers need replacing. A new set gives the cube a clear look again and lets you keep practising on it.

How to apply them?

Remove the old stickers and clean off any adhesive residue, for example with isopropyl alcohol. The pieces should be clean and dry. The easiest way to place new stickers is with tweezers or the tip of a hobby knife, which lets you line them up evenly before pressing them down. It is best to start with the centres, then move on to the edges and corners, checking that the gap from the edge of the piece is the same all around. Fix a crooked sticker straight away, because once it is pressed down firmly it is harder to lift without damaging it.
