This is a set of interchangeable numbered pieces for the GAN Swift Block wiSlide, an electronic Klotski-style sliding puzzle. It is an accessory, not a standalone puzzle. The tiles can't be played without the wiSlide board, so the set makes sense if you already own a wiSlide or are buying one together with it.

What the number set is for

By default, the wiSlide comes with pieces for classic Klotski, where you slide blocks of different sizes to get the largest one off the board. The Swift Block Number Pieces Set turns this layout into the well-known number sliding puzzle. You have to arrange the tiles in numerical order by sliding them into the empty space. GAN designed the wiSlide with three game modes: Klotski, Number 8-Puzzle and Number 15-Puzzle. The number set lets you play the last two with real, physical pieces.

The pieces are magnetic and attach to the wiSlide board in place of the Klotski blocks. No tools are needed to swap them.

How it works with the wiSlide

The wiSlide is a smart puzzle. The board detects the position of the pieces and connects to your phone, so you can track and analyze your solves in the app. The Number Pieces Set doesn't change this functionality, it only changes the type of puzzle you're working on. If you've already mastered the classic Klotski solves, it's an easy way to get a new kind of challenge on the same device.

Who is it for?

For GAN Swift Block wiSlide owners who want to solve numbered sliding puzzles, including the classic 15-puzzle, which people time themselves on much like with cubes. The set also makes a great wiSlide gift for a child who enjoys logic puzzles. If you're buying it separately, make sure you have the right board. The pieces are designed for the wiSlide and don't fit regular sliding puzzles.
