YaQiLi Yoyo PRO

YaQiLi Yoyo PRO

YaQiLi Yoyo PRO is an affordable metal yoyo. It works well as a first yoyo and for learning basic tricks. The metal body is corrosion-resistant, so the yoyo copes well with drops, frequent use and being carried in a pocket or backpack. It weighs approx. 40 g and has a diameter of approx. 56.5 mm. This size sits comfortably in the hand of both children and adults.

The shape and weight distribution help the yoyo spin steadily. This makes it easier to learn a clean throw, the sleeper (spinning the yoyo at the end of the string without it returning) and your first tricks. The metal model is heavier than a typical cheap plastic yoyo, so it holds its spin better and is less likely to tilt when you throw it.

How does a yoyo work?
A yoyo is a spool hanging on a string. When you let it go, the string unwinds and the yoyo starts to spin. Once the string is fully unwound, the yoyo keeps spinning and, as it winds the string back up, returns to your hand. The Maxwell wheel, known from physics lessons, works on the same principle. There are many theories about the origin of the yoyo, but China is most often named.

Yoyoing as a sport
A yoyo is more than just a toy. Yoyoing is a discipline in which players perform tricks and stunts with a yoyo. Competitions are held every year around the world, where players compete on the difficulty and flow of their routines.
