YJ Plush Bag

A small single-cube pouch from YJ. The YJ Plush Bag is made of soft plush, measures about 8 cm and fits a standard 3x3 cube. It weighs about 45 g, so it won't weigh down your backpack or pocket. In our shop it is available in green.

Why use a cube bag?

A cube carried loose in a backpack knocks against keys, your phone and other things. Scratches soon appear on the plastic, and they are most visible on glossy UV versions. The plush gently cushions contact with other items, protects against scratches and keeps dust and crumbs out. Keep in mind, though, that this is a soft pouch, not a hard case. If the cube gets crushed in a tightly packed bag, the pouch won't protect it. For everyday use, school, travel or competitions, it is more than enough.

Zipper and strap

The bag closes with a zipper, so your cube won't fall out even if you toss it into your backpack upside down. It also has a strap, so you can carry it with you or hang it on your backpack or cube bag. That way your main cube is always at hand, including between rounds at competitions.

Which cube will fit?

This cube bag is designed for one standard-size 3x3 cube. Smaller cubes, e.g. 2x2, will fit too. A 4x4, a Megaminx or several puzzles at once won't fit inside. For those, it's better to choose a larger bag from our cube bags category.

Who is it for?

For anyone who carries one cube every day and wants it to look good for as long as possible. The bag also makes a nice small gift for a child who has just started solving: it is soft, light and easy to open. If you usually take several puzzles with you, a roomier bag or a backpack for cubers will be more useful.
