YJ Zhilong M Mini 3x3

YJ Zhilong M Mini 3x3 is a 50 mm magnetic 3x3 cube from the mini series by YJ (YongJun). A standard 3x3 cube usually measures about 56 mm, so the Zhilong is noticeably smaller, yet it turns like a full-size speedcube. According to reviews, it is the first mass-produced 50 mm 3x3 cube with magnets. The model was released in 2020 and is available in a stickerless bright version.

How the Zhilong Mini turns

The cube feels loose and fast, and the factory-installed medium-strength magnets keep it stable. The layers snap into place clearly but without much resistance. Turning is light and smooth. For a cube at this price, corner cutting is good in both directions and lockups are rare. The cube is fast, smooth and stable, so you don't need to set it up right away.

50 mm size: who it's for

The smaller size suits people with smaller hands, including children who struggle with a larger cube. Mini cubes are also popular with one-handed solvers, as they are easier to grip with one hand. The Zhilong also works well as a cube to carry in your pocket or backpack. If you're used to 56-57 mm cubes, you may need a moment at first to adapt your fingertricks to the smaller pieces. Some cubers simply don't like small cubes, so it's worth keeping that in mind before you buy.

Adjustment

Tension is adjusted with screws using the screwdriver included in the set. You can tighten the cube for more control or loosen it for faster solving. The Zhilong has no compression adjustment system and no swappable magnets. It's a simple, budget magnetic cube, not a flagship with extensive customization.

    To żałosne, chłop z ręką od łopaty ocenia kostkę MINI... i twierdzi, że większa byłaby lepsza. Byłaby, tylko dla kogo? Szukam kostki dla dziecka i te wszystkie opinie mnie tylko wkurzają. Brak jakiejkolwiek wskazówki jak dobrać rozmiar kostki do ręki danego osobnika.

    Pierwszej kostki nie musiałem dokręcać, to druga z firmy i trzeba było dokręcać e 3 miejscach bo wręcz słychać było sprężyny. Za to nie trzeba jej było smarować. Po prostu działa. Wyrabia się na zakrętach. Choć na razie układam jedną ręką ;-) i nie jest to takie szybkie.

    Naprawę dobra kostka. Aż trudno uwierzyć ale jest lepsza od valka mini. Gdyby była w wersji z naklejkami to kupiłabym sobie też taką. Za tak niską cenę to warto mieć chociażby w kolekcji. Kupiłam ją też dlatego, że ma magnesy ale nie są one zbyt mocne co też jest fajne. Także polecam dla tych którzy mają małe ręce. Jedyną jej wadą jest to, że nie jest zbyt cicha no ale wiele markowych kości też nie jest.
